KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (IMER) under the banner of marketing club conducted a one-day workshop on “AI & Social Media”, on, 4th July 2025– addressing the growing relevance of artificial intelligence in transforming marketing and communication strategies in today’s digital era.

The workshop was led by Mr. Zahir Mirza, a seasoned brand consultant, educator, and mentor with over 30 years of experience in the advertising and communication industry. Mr. Mirza is the Founder of SkillMill India, a creative training and development organization, and currently serves as the Program Head for Communication and Experience Design at Sir J J Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai. He was also the Managing Director of Doosra Brand Communications, later acquired by Dentsu Aegis, and has held leadership roles at prestigious agencies like MullenLowe Lintas, J. Walter Thompson, and DDB Mudra.

Through an engaging and insightful session, Mr. Mirza shared real-world examples and strategies on how AI is revolutionizing social media engagement, content design, and digital branding. The workshop provided students with valuable exposure to cutting-edge tools and creative approaches to digital communication, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the business world.The event was well-received by faculty and students alike, reflecting KLS IMER’s commitment to equipping future professionals with industry-relevant skills and knowledge.
